Thinking about projects

Ok, Members, now that we've got the site running and everyone is becoming accustomed to posting and commenting on photographs, and having some fun, perhaps it's time we all started to think about projects that will help us grow in our photography.

A project doesn't have to be a big undertaking. Indeed, it's probably best if our projects are not onerous. This is supposed to be enjoyable, not hard work.

So how about everyone thinks about a project that will engage them and perhaps challenge the group as a whole to try something different. The group is small enough that everyone's idea can get a guernsey. We could do a project per month or a project every couple of months, for example.

We can set up a collection for each project and house the collections in the f5.6 Projects group that already exists.

Another thing to think about is whether we want to work alone on a project and post our output to the collection at a time to be mutually agreed...or...post our work as and when we feel like it so all can see how it is shaping amongst the group. Both approaches have merit. And we could try each approach in turn or on different projects.

Over to you.

f5.6 Rob Smith
